Welcome to Ashbrooke Cosmetic Clinic
Nano fat transfer is an advanced procedure that uses a patient’s own processed fat to help improve the quality and appearance of certain areas of the skin. Unlike traditional fat grafting, nano fat is filtered and emulsified into a fine consistency, making it suitable for improving skin texture, fine lines and mild volume loss without the bulk associated with standard fat grafts.
Nano fat transfer may assist in:

Improving skin texture and quality by supporting collagen and elastin activity

Reducing the appearance of fine lines, crepey skin and mild pigmentation changes

Utilising the patient’s own tissue, reducing risks of allergic reactions

Offering results that can be longer lasting compared to some other non-surgical treatments

Providing a relatively brief recovery period compared to more invasive procedures
It is important to note that individual outcomes vary and more than one treatment may be required to achieve the desired result.
While generally regarded as safe, nano fat transfer carries potential risks such as:

Temporary swelling, bruising or redness

Minor irregularities in skin texture

Infection, though uncommon

The possibility of requiring further treatments for optimal outcomes
The above risks may differ from patient to patient. Because the procedure uses your own processed fat, risks of allergic reaction are reduced.
Nano fat transfer may be performed alongside other procedures such as:

Laser treatments or chemical peels to further improve skin quality

Traditional fat grafting where volume restoration is also needed

Dermal fillers for contour improvement while nano fat focuses on texture
You may be considered for nano fat transfer if you:

Have mild skin laxity, fine lines or early signs of ageing

Prefer an approach using your own tissue

Are in good general health with adequate donor fat (even lean individuals often have sufficient fat)

Seek gradual improvements
Let’s explore how the nano fat transfer treatment is carried out with us:
During the pre-treatment consultation, our doctor will discuss your medical history, the details of your procedure, and any specific concerns or goals you may have. This consultation allows us to tailor the treatment to your unique needs, ensuring an effective session that aligns with your post-operative requirements.
Our doctors will guide you through this phase, helping you manage any post-treatment effects effectively. You’ll receive instructions on resuming normal activities gradually, with recommendations to support your recovery.
Important Note: Results vary from person to person. Your practitioner will explain the expected outcomes, possible need for repeat treatments and the limitations of the procedure during your consultation.
Nano fat transfer is commonly used to address the following areas:

Post-procedure swelling and bruising peak in the first 1-3 days. Afterwards, it starts to subside within a week, and most return to regular routines within 1–2 weeks. Final skin improvement appears over 2–3 months.
Since fat cells and stem cells integrate, results can last for several years. Many of our patients experience long-term benefits, although some fat is naturally reabsorbed during the first months. It is also dependent on lifestyle factors such as diet and exercise.
Some patients are satisfied after one session, but additional treatments may be recommended for additional and subtle refinements or to treat a wider area.
Individuals in good health with realistic expectations, stable weight, and mild-to-moderate skin aging are best suited. This procedure is not ideal for those seeking dramatic volume increases.
