Welcome to Ashbrooke Cosmetic Clinic
Cosmetic surgery and procedures are significant decisions, both personally and financially. For many patients, the cost of treatment is an important factor in planning their care. Payment plan options can assist patients in managing expenses in a structured way, ensuring that financial considerations are clear and transparent before treatment proceeds.
Our clinic provides information about accepted payment methods and in-house payment arrangements so patients can make informed choices that suit their circumstances. We do not promote or recommend third-party financing or loan schemes, in line with the Medical Board of Australia’s guidelines.
To make payment as convenient as possible, our clinic accepts a range of standard methods commonly used in Australia. These include:

Payment methods will be discussed with you in advance so you have clarity on what to expect.
Ashbrooke Cosmetic Surgery offers traditional liposuction in Sydney to help you remove unwanted fat deposits from specific areas of the body, including abdominal, back, legs, arms, & facial areas. Our experienced team is here to guide you through every step of the process, ensuring you are well informed & feel confident and through the decision-making process.
Â
At Ashbrooke Cosmetic Surgery Clinic, we are dedicated to answer any questions you have around unwanted fat with an experienced Medical Practitioner and helping you to make an informed decision.
It is important that you carefully consider the financial commitment involved in any cosmetic procedure. Patients are encouraged to seek independent financial advice before entering into any payment arrangement. This helps ensure you are fully informed about your personal circumstances and that the decision is made with long-term planning in mind.
We understand some patients may prefer to spread their payments over time. Our clinic can offer in-house instalment plans as a non-commercial arrangement directly between the patient and Ashbrooke. These plans are designed to be interest-free and transparent.
Key features include:

Such arrangements are assessed on a case-by-case basis and must be agreed & finalised prior to scheduling any procedure.
Eligibility for an in-house instalment plan is assessed fairly and consistently. General requirements include:

Being over 18 years of age

Providing valid identification

Agreeing to the clinic’s terms of the instalment plan

Meeting the mandatory cooling-off period for cosmetic surgery before final payment is taken
Additional documentation may be requested to confirm suitability.
If you are considering a payment plan, you can expect the following steps:

Discuss your treatment goals and receive a detailed cost estimate.

Our doctor will explain the payment methods available, including the option for an in-house instalment plan.

For cosmetic surgery, a minimum seven-day cooling-off period applies after signing the consent form.

If eligible, a payment schedule is agreed upon before your procedure is confirmed.

Once all requirements are met, your procedure date will be scheduled.
At Ashbrooke Cosmetic Surgery, we prioritise patient care, safety, and achieving realistic results. When you choose us for your abdomen liposuction in Sydney, you’ll benefit from:

No. Our in-house instalment plans are interest-free. They are non-commercial arrangements directly between you and our clinic. This means you will only pay the agreed procedure cost, divided into instalments, with no added loan interest or hidden finance charges.
Yes. Patients may finalise their instalments earlier than planned. Paying in advance does not attract penalties, and it allows you to complete the financial commitment in line with your personal circumstances.
Refunds depend on the stage of your treatment and the type of service booked. Consultation fees are typically non-refundable, while procedure deposits may be refundable if cancellation occurs before the mandatory cooling-off period ends. Refunds after a procedure has taken place are not generally available. All refund requests are managed in line with Australian Consumer Law and our clinic’s refund policy.
No. Our in-house instalment arrangements are not loans, so no credit checks are required. The agreement is made directly between you and our clinic as a simple, transparent arrangement.
Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) services such as Afterpay and Zip are widely used across Australia. They are regulated financial products that allow payments to be spread over short periods. Patients should be aware that these services are managed by external providers, and you should review their terms and conditions carefully before use. Our clinic can accept BNPL payments, but we do not endorse or promote any particular provider.
The Medical Board of Australia and AHPRA guidelines specifically state that cosmetic clinics and practitioners must not offer, promote, or recommend third-party loans or commercial finance schemes. This ensures that treatment decisions are based solely on patient needs and safety, not financial incentives.
For cosmetic surgery, no payments (other than consultation fees) can be accepted until after the mandatory cooling-off period of at least seven days has ended. This is a national requirement under the Medical Board of Australia guidelines.
Generally, private health insurance does not cover elective cosmetic procedures. In some cases, reconstructive or medically necessary procedures may be eligible for a Medicare item number or private health rebate. You should confirm this directly with your insurer.
If a scheduled instalment is missed, our team will contact you promptly to discuss repayment options. We encourage patients to inform us in advance if they are experiencing financial difficulty so arrangements can be adjusted where possible.
